Is There a Pill To Reverse Gray Hair?

Men more than women will let their hair go gray over time and will one day realise that they are now practically gray all over. This realisation may prompt them to do something about it especially if they now feel self conscious about the way they look. For anyone with graying hair a sudden hair color change is very noticeable so a solution that will give a gradual change over time is always the best way to go. For women this is easy as a trip to the local salon will do the trick, compliments all around.

For men a sudden change in hair color is very noticeable and unfairly so, this is why a gradual change over time would be more suitable. So what do you look for in a pill remedy that will help reverse the gray? When we go gray the melanin, the color in our hair, is depleted which is part of the natural ageing process and the only way that we can retain our hair color is to combat this process. As we age our bodies also produce hydrogen peroxide whereby the quantity our bodies produces increases as we get. Tests at the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom have found that a chemical substance called Catalase actually slows down the process in our bodies that creates the hydrogen peroxide. This has resulted in some manufacturer's of gray hair prevention products to add this ingredient into their products.

Catalase has now become the staple ingredient in pills that claim to reverse gray hair. Its still early days but some users of these types of products have seen a drastic change in the color of their hair. Typical results have shown that taken over a period of no less than 6 - 8 weeks will results in some color being regained. Clearly this type of product needs to be taken continually over time for the full effect to be seen, making it a lucrative product for manufacturers. A good gauge as to how effective a pill can be is to see if you have any change over a 6 week period. If there is no noticeable change then ask for refund. Most companies should offer this, if not don't buy from them.

There have been some aggressive advances in the study of gray hair and how it can be reversed. Pills that claim to reverse gray hair will only become more and more effective over time. There is such a thing as a gray hair pill, you just need to keep up with the science to make sure your are knowledgeable about the ingredients. This way you will know if the product will work or not.
